WHO IS P1 FOR?

We are very proud to be Manchester’s only gym that’s specialised to work with men and women between the age of 30 and 50, who live or work in the City Centre.

Now, this DOES NOT mean we don’t have members who are outside of that description.

It simply means that we are unapologetically set up against the quick fixes, 12-week body plans, £8 ‘health smoothies’ and the ‘abs & megaphones’ type bootcamps that get you sweaty, but not much use beyond that…

So no, it doesn’t mean that you can’t come in if you’re younger than 30 or older than 50! :)

Everyone is welcome who shares our values when it comes to health and fitness:

1. Strength Training is for everyone!

Doesn’t matter what you do in life, what your job is or how old you are, you WILL benefit from quality, coaches strength training.

That is why it is the backbone of everything we do…
… I mean, when was the last time you wished you were weaker?

Exactly, being and feeling strong is liberating, empowering and just outright necessity as it makes every aspect of life easier.

2. Building consistency - OR - Long-term health over short-term gains!

Fitness is a journey, not a destination. Our aim is to help you master a routine where being strong and fit is just part of life, rather than yet another thing on your ‘to-do list’ or just something that 'would be nice to have'.

For this, we focus on things that matter: movement quality, strength, mobility, joint stability, eating support you feeling great, sleep to recover and be able to face the next day…

No shiny objects, fads, trends and quick fixes…

We think this is why most people can’t keep a fitness routine for longer than a few weeks, but our members stay with us on average 18 months!
