EXPERIENCE MATTERS

You must've heard the analogy about the plumber and his experience!

If you have, feel free to skip the next paragraph, otherwise, here it is:

The plumber turns up to a job.

Toilet doesn't flush, it's in a right state...

Boris, who owns the house is in a bit of a state himself.

'We have quests coming tonight'- he says to the plumber - "Can't have this smell in the house"

'I'll see what I can do' - answered the plumber whilst weighting up the issue.

A couple of minutes later he taps a pipe behind the toilet a few times and proceeds to flush it, no issue.

'Right, that's all fixed! It'll be £250, please!'

'£250?!' - asked Boris not believing his ears - 'It only took you 5 minutes!'

'Sir, my time here might only cost £5, but knowing where to tap the pipe is worth £245, because that took me over 20 years to master.'

FITNESS IS NO DIFFERENT

In a gym like P1, hours are spent behind the scenes to ensure a hunded things go according to plan each time you visit:

- Sessions are pre-planned, practised and mastered by the whole team

- Progressions for stronger members, regression for people who are newer to exercise or are battling an injury worked out before the session

- Constant evaluation and re-evaluation of each member's progress as well as looking at what in the previous programme was working and what wasn't

- Coach's CPD, education, team building to ensure cohesion

- Gym, showers, changing rooms, towels etc... cleaned and prepared for your visit, so it doesn't matter if your session is at 6:30am or 6:30pm, the standards are unchanged

- Weights always back on the racks, in kg order

... The above are also just SOME of the considerations that go into training. 

Nutrition coaching, sleep, injury management, rehab, prehab, member events, challenges, charity work and more sit alongside this.

"That's cool, but what is your point, Peter?"

Haha, yes, you're right to ask that of course.

The point is YOU and YOUR TIME!

We know that people in the City are busy and would rather spend their time with friends, colleagues and family and not planning sessions, waiting for equipment in a busy gym, educating themselves on training and nutrition then play the game of months and years of trial and error to see what works for them.

Our job is to create an environment where all the thinking is taken out of your health and fitness. 

We've done all that!

You just come and do your best and enjoy the magnificent rewards of being fit, healthy, happy and sexy!
