P1 is a gym designed for anyone who wants to work out in an environment free from egos, posers or pressure. 

With no judgement and no mirrors, you can just turn up and work out. You never have to do it on your own. Your own gym crew and a dedicated team of coaches are always on hand to motivate you, celebrate your achievements and stop everyday training from becoming a chore.

Proud to be different, we specialise in training people in their 30s-40s and beyond, but we’re happy to work with anyone who:

✅ Wants to look fantastic, feel energised and fit, but still wants to live a full life where no food is banned and the gym doesn’t take over EVERYTHING

✅ Values longevity and health over crash dieting for a holiday

✅ Wants a gym where they actually look forward to going

✅ Keen on training with everyday people who are there to work, not to look at their TikTok and take selfies

P1 is NOT for people who:

🚫 Want to sacrifice their social life for the gym, because they think it’s the only way to get results

🚫 Just looking to shred for Ibiza in 4 weeks

🚫 Full of excuses why not to turn up most days

🚫 Looking to film themselves training for IG and TikTok and hoping to bump into celebrities in the gym

🚫 Don’t value fitness and are looking for the cheapest gym in town. (after all, they won’t go anyway, right?)

Other than that, the P1 coaches and members are a lovely bunch. We train hard, but crack some jokes and have a good time in the process. Some would call the music choices questionable, but we do try please everyone! 😜

How do I get started?

Everyone in P1 starts with our 30day TRIAL , no exceptions! This helps you get a taste of what we do and gives you a chance to get into a routine with training and nutrition. The TRIAL also ensures that you are surrounded by genuine, like-minded people when you train with us.

How can I train in a small group with people who have different fitness goals?

Our sessions are personal training, not class based. This means that we have a skeleton plan everyone follows, but we take time to tailor and individualise your journey.
Have a look a bit higher up on the page to see the wide variety of people we train together in small groups. The results speak for themselves!

I struggle with ‘insert injuries, aches and pains’. Can I still train?

99% of the time, the answer is yes, as we can work around most injuries and still train effectively. We work with some of the best physios in the City, GPs and other health professionals to build an effective workout routine for you that doesn’t impede your recovery.
If you’re unsure whether you’re able to work with us, just drop us a message to double check. We will do our best to help you find the right place to start feeling 100% again.

I have not been in a gym for 10 years, will I be ok?

Absolutely, the majority of our members started in P1 after a bigger break away from the gym due to life commitments. We will help you catch up much quicker than you could on your own.

Can I turn up anytime?

The sessions at P1 are all coached by the team and work on a pre-booked basis. You can book on as close as 30mins prior to the session starting though, so it’s super easy.

I can only train at ‘insert your time’. Can you guarantee a slot on the session or do they fill up?

Some sessions are busier than others and they do fill up, especially if you’re last minute. However, if you’re able to plan a day or so ahead, you WILL get a slot even at the busiest times.
If a session slot becomes oversubscribed on a regular basis, we can easily put another coach and another session on at the same time. (This has been done many times since we opened in 2018)
