IS RUNNING STARTING TO HURT?

Running is great - it helps clear your head, raises your heart rate and it gets you outside!

Whether you’ve been an avid runner for years or you’ve just done the odd one here and there, at some point, running

on hard floors is potentially going to start hurting.

How come?

Well, although running has loads of fantastic benefits, it’s not ideal for our joints.

And over time, it can really take its toll and start hurting.
Are we suggesting running is bad for you?

Absolutely not, however it’s important that you protect and support your joints at the same time.

How do you do that?
Simply put, by lifting weights.

Frequently lifting weights in a safe and controlled manner will build up your joint health so that when you do get

slightly older, the aches and pains stay away!
Even better still, you can keep running!
But you hate running...
That’s also absolutely fine.

Find something you enjoy instead, just remember that consistently putting resistance through your joints is very important.

Joint health = happy body when you’re older!
